Start Time Stop

Stop forcing your life
Stop insisting for a particular result
Stop breathing for others, simply to impress
Stop expecting for others warm caress.

Time to realize the world is not on your side
Time itself isn't even in for the ride.

Time to face reality
Time to face true mortality.

Start to live
Start to laugh
Start to create
Start to procreate

It's time to stop fighting yourself, begin to enjoy. Do what i have done.I've stopped fighting the demons inside me; we're on the same side now.

  1. I like the format of your poem. I like that you have kept the last stanza much like prose. Can you try a different word in the second stanza - you repeat the word "side" and I think it could be different.

  3. I like it sooooooooooo much. You are so talented. What does "forcing your life mean?" I dont understand 'cause
I'm dumb. Also, procreate is gross.

  4. I like how the anaphora really does something for the poem it's not just there. Love the last few lines.

  6. I must beg you to stop impressing such powerful ideas into my brain, for I can not handle the existential thrill ride that you have just put me through.
