I am a dance floor,
Smooth and polished,
Some approach me and are abolished.
Others find me relaxing,
They glide and slide
I’m their home away from home.
I find in them what they find in me
We share one pulse,
They wish to see
A true dancer knows that the moments you steal
On the dance floor,
Are ones you can only feel.
I am a dance floor.
thanks Maria! enjoyed your poems! I love poetry, to me it is like a photograph that you never thought of taking! such amazing glimpses through someone else's eyes! Keep it up, it's in the genes! Love you, Goko
